Shane is a husband, father, award-winning digital storyteller, and Fortune Magazine’s “Best Vocalist in a Corporate Band” for 2004. With a career spanning corporate marketing, content strategy, and creative storytelling, he has spent decades inspiring audiences and building brands across the evolving digital landscape.
At RestlessUrban, Shane contributes his expertise in content strategy and storytelling to help shape narratives that resonate with adults over 50. After being laid off in midlife, he found himself at a personal crossroads. That experience led him to RestlessUrban and its mission to empower Generation X and beyond to rediscover purpose and passion in their next chapter.
Shane is not just reimagining his own career. He is helping others do the same by combining strategic insight with real-world experience to create content that informs, uplifts, and drives meaningful connection.
When he is not developing content or moderating job search groups, Shane enjoys binge-watching Hacks with his wife and two teenage sons, riding the Bay Area Hills on his road bike, or performing with his 90s cover band, The Heady Vedders.
