"At 50, I’m not trying to reinvent myself — just realign."
I used to spend my days editing magazines and testing gadgets for a living — I was editor-in-chief of T3 back when we still got excited about brushed aluminum and button placement. Since then, I’ve shifted gears more than once: into agency life, then consulting, and now into something more fluid — growth work, writing, making space for what matters.
These days, I’m drawn to the good stuff: great design, thoughtful travel, cars with character, boats with stories, and weekends that don’t blur into Mondays. I live in a small village just outside New York with my wife and three kids. Watching them grow — and grow restless in their own ways — has changed how I think about time, ambition, and what I want from the second half of life.
Family anchors me. Curiosity fuels me. At 50, I’m not trying to reinvent myself — just realign. Restless, but grateful.
