“I don’t know what made me say that, but it’s f*@king funny. This would make a good cartoon.”

HOWL is a comic series born from the quick wit, raw honesty, and creative chemistry between writer Marleah Stout and artist Gary Holme. Built on natural conversations and spontaneous one-liners, each cartoon captures the humor, tension, and joy of navigating life, aging, and everything in between.

Marleah writes. Gary draws. Together, they debate, laugh, and shape each piece with a mix of humor and hard truth. Their process is messy, collaborative, and fueled by mutual respect. The result is storytelling that is both deeply relatable and unapologetically funny.

HOWL reflects the belief that art—and life—is rarely polished. It grows out of friction, lived experience, and the courage to say what others are thinking. With every strip, they remind us that the show isn’t over. In fact, it just got renewed.

Above all, HOWL is a celebration of laughter, curiosity, and the power of doing what you love. Loudly.
