This is the backpack that makes every walk a workout. It’s built for comfort, balance, and strength training and ideal for adults over 50.
To ruck (which basically means walking with a weighted pack), you can literally throw anything heavy into a backpack and head out the door. I’ve tried it with a kettlebell in my pack, but it doesn’t distribute the weight evenly. A purpose-built rucking backpack can make things easier on your pack and on your back.
The Rucker 4.0 is built with elevated pockets for ruck plates (you can add more weight as you get stronger). Importantly, it provides ergonomic lumbar support with foam padding to protect your spine’s natural curve, with extra padding on the shoulder straps. You can also attach a padded hip belt (sold separately) to distribute the weight of heavy loads over your hips.
